About
With over 20 years of experience in the design industry, Bill Sweeney has always had a keen interest in all forms of art. Studying CGI (computer-generated imagery) in Ballyfermot Senior College, he was caught by the designer's bug. Since working within several different areas of design, audio production, and video creation - Bill developed a passion for photography. Starting as a self-taught shooter, he soon expanded his knowledge with courses in Dublin Photography School and online lessons. This only worked to expand his love for different types of photography and introduced Bill to the Macro world - where small becomes large.

Living in Meath, Ireland, Bill was keen to train his camera on the various landscapes and historic sites on his doorstep. He turned his focus to landscape photography. One of the first pictures he took of Trim Castle was a winner in the annual RTE calendar competition. It featured on their televised weather reports and was published in their yearly calendar.
Since then, Bill has had his photos featured in newspapers, calendars, and social media. He hopes to expand on his knowledge, technique, and experience in all things photography, and continue to take beautiful photos - whether it is landscape, cityscape, macro, or nature photography.
